Prospecting habits

Dirk Zeller of Real Estate Champions recently itemized four habits for effective prospecting. Read his newsletter # 259 (May 9, 2006).

Here is a summary of the four habits.

1) set a daily time and place for prospecting

Develop a routine for prospecting on a daily basis and in a controlled environment.

2) fight off distractions

This includes email, inbound phone calls, or setting appointments during your selected time period.

3) follow the plan

Set up each day’s prospecting plan a day in advance

4) be faithful to yourself and finish what you start

Complete your prospecting contacts.
