I've seen references to the gallery. How can I best use these pages?ANSWER:
The three gallery pages are designed to show multiple rows of graphics and text. As a result, many of our website owners use gallery pages for client testimonials, business team mates, or properties they've sold.
In these cases, the text describes the person or property being shown. If you are familiar with simple HTML commands, you can do some simple formatting (bold, italics, or even hyperlinks to other websites).
The graphic will be the person or property that is your team mate, property you transacted, or the delighted client. The graphic can be shown in three sizes. We suggest the larger size for a property, but either of the two smaller sizes for a people photo.
1. To add a gallery page, go to the administration menu. Click on "Links/Gallery/Web Pages". This will take you to a sub-menu. Click on one of the three gallery page buttons.
2. Add a page title and select the desired image pixel size.
3. For each row:
- click on "Upload from hard drive" and "Browse..." to select the graphic to use
- click on "Publish this image" to use it
- enter "Image title" and "Description" as the text
4. When you are done click on "Update"
5. Return to the main administration menu and add the gallery page you just updated to one of your navigation buttons.
You're done!
