Website tip #5-11 (using fonts)
WebCubic websites enable you to specify your own fonts in various places. Although you have this capability, avoid the temptation of using too many font styles. It is almost always better to use a single font style throughout. This makes for a more professional appearance by avoiding a cartoonish look. Use multiple fonts on your party invitations. Use a single font on your website.Use bold or italic styles to highlight key text. Again, avoid the temptation to overdo this.
What about text colors? Used sparingly, different colors can highlight specific text and make it more clear to the visitor. Some websites overuse colors and what do you think it looks like? A cartoon.
