WebCubic websites come in three flavors

WebCubic announced in August that its release 5.0 product would be soon available. We believe that it will be formally available in October along with an accompanying price increase.

NOTE: the price increase impacts only new clients. All current clients will retain their existing prices. We're doing this because we've always promised our clients that upgrades would be free. We're going to honor that promise.

Here are the major highlights of release 5.0

IMAGE (or website design)

- New "custom" template

Users can add a custom graphical design(s) for the top, upper left corner, and left banner areas; modify the layout of the home page area (profile, contact, personal news); and add a custom background for the home page area

- Enhanced "semi-custom" templates

Users can add a custom graphical design(s) for the top, upper left corner, and left banner areas

TRAFFIC

The design of the custom template is more search-engine-friendly than our other designs. When the TITLE metatag is user entered, no other text will be added. This is a key element in search engine optimization.

The DESCRIPTION metatag is user entered but no other text will be added. This is a key element for visitor "click thrus".

The KEYWORD metatag will be defaulted by WebCubic. This is no longer a significant tag for search engine optimization.

Every time an "update" of the website is performed, a Google sitemap is automatically generated.

LEADS

Limited mobile phone support is available. WebCubic websites will work from mobile phones with Internet capabilities.

In our next posting we will provide instructions on how to use these capabilities.
