Bits of information from Terabitz

Launched just last month, Terabitz.com enables users to create, save, and share custom bits of data about a particular neighborhood in the U.S. Information is geared to buyers, sellers, and renters.

The site uses publicly available information (census data, crime statistics from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, government records). Additional data comes from Google Base,
some MLSs, and Craigslist.

Terabitz's real-estate listings come from multiple sources thereby increasing the likelihood of more complete coverage. It's easy to drag and drop elements onto the dashboard. The site lets users assemble pertinent neighborhood and housing information in one place that can be easily revisited and shared with others.

Terabitz also includes bits of data of interest to those looking to purchase or rent a home in a particular neighborhood (area photos, demographics, local stores, places of worship, banks, schools, and post offices).

Terabitz plans to extend its offerings, adding features like for-sale-by-owner properties, new construction listings, and rental and foreclosure properties.
