Reporting from the CAR expo (Tuesday)

Sorry to post this a day late, but we wanted to provide a report from the California Association of REALTORS expo being held in Long Beach, CA being held October 17 - 19.

There was a beehive of activity in the afternoon as both exhibitors and Expo staff prepared the facility to receive the first group of REALTORS at 6pm.

Our booth (#1522) is near the main (and only) entrance. And we have interesting neighbors, including a major competitor within 20 feet (one of their employees took advantage of the closeness by visiting our booth and examining our literature and display). There are also a property-listing-website provider across the curtain from us, a portable tablet provider (www.ServiceTablet.com) across the aisle from us, and an online floor plan website "bolt on" provider (www.FloorPlanOnline.com) next to us.

Since we are close to the main (and only) entrance, we had a major influx of visitors immediately after the EXPO opened. The good news is that a significant number of visitors with serious intentions of buying websites stopped by. I'm sure all of the website companies will do well as a result of this interest. One of the things that created this interest was the entire Tech Tuesday series of seminars held earlier in the day.

We didn't close our first sale until thirty minutes after the doors opened.

We had a chance to visit several friends. Mary Lou, Jean, and Joy from SRAR; Mark and Joey from PWR;
