One of the ways that you can differentiate yourself is by elevating yourself to an "expert". And, in actuality, that's what you already may be. You need to tell that to others. Your objective in doing this is so you can stand out from your fellow professionals.

Because you stand out from others, people will desire to work with you. How can you position yourself as an "expert"? The article shown below will show you five different ways to do that. One of those ways is to publish a blog.

Your blog will show prospects that you are knowledgeable, interesting, and care about your profession. Put your blog URL on your business cards and invite your clients to contribute by sending you links.

Use your blog to send “blogletters" - a shorter piece focused on just one topic. Send them via e-mail to subscribers. Then continue to send follow-up blogletters, which will help your clients get new information (and learn about your blog).

One other note about blogs, you don't have to limit yourself to only one blog. You can have multiple blogs with each focused on a different aspect of your business. For example, multiple blogs can describe differents areas where you farm.
