Garage sales (tip # 7-03)
One of our website owners coordinates the community garage sale in the area where he farms. The participating home owners notify him of date and times, and he does the rest.The event is posted on his website and the neighborhood residents know that. Naturally, he gets visits from those that matter to him, and always stands a good chance at getting the listings in the area.
Another REALTOR mentioned that it costs them around $50 to coordinate a similar event, including permits, ads, maps, and signage.
