Are you using Yelp?

We've described Yelp before as a social media site that enables people to post reviews of restaurants and similar destinations. In this environment we typically think of lodging, entertainment venues, merchants, and shopping areas.

How about REALTORS?

For those of you in the real estate industry, Yelp can be a great addition to your marketing efforts. It can be a place for your happy clients to post their testimonials. Typically, we expect someone to use Yelp to find a good restaurant - why not use Yelp to locate a good REALTOR?

Here's the 1-2-3-DONE to get started:

- signup at Yelp by getting an individual account.

- open a business owner account.

- tell your happy clients who want to recommend you to others to go to Yelp (they have to signup as individuals) and post a testimonial. They may even rate you as a 5-star REALTOR.

- enjoy posting reviews of restaurants, hotels, and other places you visit. If you wish, you can even post a review of WEBCUBIC. You can be honest - we'll appreciate the feedback.

Are you using Yelp? Maybe not. But should you? Yes!

If you're not in the real estate business, it still makes sense for you to be on Yelp.
