First of all, what is www.Alltop.com? From its own website, they describe themselves in this way.Alltop is an “online magazine rack” of popular topics. We update the stories every hour. Pick a topic by searching, news category, or name, and we’ll deliver it to you 24 x 7. All the topics, all the time.
For example, if you search for "real estate", you will be shown over 100 sources (each of these is a blog) on this subject. Each of them has about 5 articles. Each subject is different in the number of sources available for the topic.
Alltop is updated every hour according to its website. You should get pretty fresh news and articles at any time.
A recently added capability is for an individual user to select specific sources from a variety of subjects to be presented. This makes sense. Each of us (individually or as companies) have a variety of interests and needs. Now we can subjects of interest to us.
For example, WebCubic compiles sources covering Internet marketing, social media marketing, social networking, sales, real estate marketing, Blackberry, and the Dodgers. This is just one of many ways that our technical team keeps up on business and technology trends that will help them continue to create new products.
You may wish to do this. It's actually quite simple. But we'll explain it in another posting.
