Improving search engine results

A recent comment we found said that template sites can hurt search engine results. The logic for that statement is:

- your website will blend into hundreds or thousands of others. You will blend into the crowd rather than differentiating yourself from others

- search engines will respond similarly which will result in your website appearing to be "average"

WebCubic offers template websites that use intelligent templates. This alone will enable each website to be different when it is viewed by search engines. Search engines cannot view the "design" of the website, rather, they will see only the content. If the content is unique, then the website will be viewed as unique.

WebCubic intelligent template websites produce websites where every page (except for other websites that you include via hyperlinks) is has unique content. In addition, WebCubic provides user specified TITLE and DESCRIPTION tags which influence search engine rankings and user "click thrus".

If you use one of more than 200 standard designs, colors, and layouts, then you should take these steps:

- replace default content with unique content. Do this for search engine results. Do this also because you capture visitor interest with that specific content.

- include your desired TITLE and DESCRIPTION tag information. The TITLE tag will influence search engine results. The DESCRIPTION may influence the user to view your website while bypassing others

- create and use standard WebCubic pages (gallery, FreeForm, lead capture FormCreator, and reference pages). Include content that will be helpful to your visitors as well as establish your unique content for search engines.

Even if you take these steps, you may end up with a website that is similar in appearance to hundreds of others because they, too, use the same template and color. If you wish to further differentiate yourself from other WebCubic website owners, then use the advanced customization features. These will create visual differentiation for yourself. Follow the same principles stated above for your content.
