Yelp and WebCubic
WebCubic has been using Yelp for almost three months. It's only been in the last two months that we've been informing our website customers about Yelp and how to use it.One of our customers put their website into production in May. They made sure they had a presence on Yelp. In the meantime, two reviews were posted.
Just the other day, we received an email from a relative of the business (and website) owner (our client).
"I could not belive what [business and website owner] told me about a customer who walked in with a coupon and told us he got it from these comments [from Yelp] ... we thank you so much - this is just the beginning of a future success"
In the case of this website owner, they were found by a consumer using Yelp. Yelp provided two reviews that appealed to the consumer. The consumer went to the website and found a coupon and printed it out. That's how they got to the business owners store.
Unrelated to Yelp, but this customer now has moved up significantly in their Google search results. Everything is coming together.
