How bright is your chrome?

Chrome? That's the new Internet browser released by Google earlier this week. It is available in beta form and can be downloaded from http://www.google.com/chrome.

We did some initial testing and found:

- it appears to run faster than Internet Explorer 6 or 7

- all of the standard capabilities of WebCubic's agent websites function properly

The calculator does not function because Chrome cannot find or doesn't know to look for the local installed Java

- there are minor color changes in certain places on the websites but we have identified the characteristics of this difference

The instances we are aware of are with navigation buttons

- some JavaScript does not function

The "slide show" installed on many of our clients' websites used to display featured properties operates properly (uses JavaScript)

Our technical support team is aware of these anomolies and is investing them. But don't worry - it's still a beta product.
