Website tip #5-21 (more on Greeting page)
Our earlier discussion in website tip #5-10 discussed the Greeting page image. There is another aspect of the greeting page that lends flexibility to this page. There is an option for how long the greeting page is displayed.At the top of the administration page to update the Greeting page you notice a check box with the message "Display the greeting page for [ ] seconds (Type X to display the greeting page until user clicking)"
- check the box on the left of the message to display the Greeting page. If you do not wish to display the Greeting page, make sure this box is not checked.
- If you would like to display the greeting page for a specific duration, enter the number of seconds in the [box].
- If you would like the greeting page displayed until the visitor takes some action, enter "X" in the [box].
Click "update" to make the change.
