Internet marketing ideaIn efforts to help our website customers with their search engine optimization, we have offered many suggestions. Not all suggestions are equal - some do work better than others - and they do depend on how they are implemented.
We wanted to remind all of you on some of the important ones.
ONE. Don't stuff your content with keywords. Write your text, especially on the home page, in a natural manner. You should include your keywords in the text, but do not use them excessively. If you put them in two or three times over a couple hundred words, that should be sufficient. Use them early in your text.
TWO. Update your content regularly. Add to your content regularly. Doing this will give a reason for visitors to return to your site as well as for search engines to return soon. We suggest you do this weekly at a minimum.
THREE. Don't overuse the H1 tag. We mention that the H1 tag should be used at the beginning of your text. This would be a natural place to insert your primary keyword phrase. Because the H1 tag is a positive optimization tag, users may feel they should use it liberally throughout the website. Don't do that. It is not a major positive factor so any over-use of this tag may be regarded as "stuffing" or "spam" by the search engines.
FOUR. Use the TITLE tag wisely. Before you modify this tag, we suggest that you speak with a WebCubic professional about its use.
Of these four, please remember #1 and #2.
